Life Happened
A long time ago,
When we're small
Fighting and crying that he ate it all,
Searching for the bigger piece when we were asked to share;
Making stories how you are a son in spare.
Spilling the beans when Papa comes home;
Searching the house like he was lost in Rome,
Portraying myself as the victim ;
And he would say ' why you always hit him'.
Confusion was why my plate looks less than his,
Oh man those days were just a bliss.
That was my story of the day,
Thinking, to live it was there any other way?
*And then life happened*
Now we talk about the college;
Arguing who has more of the knowledge
He always says ' I got more IQ than you.'
And I would change the topic ' but you have my money due.'
Now we get our hands on a bat once in a blue
Which used to stick with us like a glue.
Now life is just a constant bickering lie,
A regret of decisions which were wrong & wondering which was right,
A race to achieve an incomparable height.
I wish i could go back to when I was eight,
When life was sweet and nothing was measured in Rate.
I don't think that life had any flaw
It was happiness and joy packed in raw
I was a little kitten playing with urns
And then life took its miserable turn
Now whenever someone asks me whats wrong
My reply is ' *life happened and turned into a sad song.* '
